Anson Wong is a Landscape Architectural and Urban Designer based in San Francisco Bay Area and Hong Kong. He is committed to creating vibrant public spaces that celebrate cultural diversity and support vulnerable communities. He has led multidisciplinary teams through complex design challenges across a diverse range of projects, from multi-modal neighborhoods and institutional campuses to historic sites and affordable housing.

 His built projects include the San Francisco Marina Improvement and Remediation Project, and Mission Rock with renowned architects MVRDV and Henning Larsen. He also contributes to high-profile projects, such as UCSF’s new Helen Diller Hospital with Herzog & de Meuron.

 In 2019, Anson created the “Stone Wall Tree HK” campaign and website, supported by Penny White Project Fund of the Harvard Graduate School of Design, to raise awareness of this unique cultural landscape. The project received multiple international awards, and related work was published at the “Breathing with Trees” Exhibition, in collaboration with Tai Kwun in 2022.

Anson currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and holds a leadership role at the non profit Hong Kong Public Space Initiative.
